About The Sanctuary

The Sanctuary is one of Metro Detroit’s premiere show and concert venues.  Since 2014,  The Sanctuary has hosted some of the most memorable national acts in  the last several years, in genres ranging from hardcore punk, to rap, to electronic music.

Located in the historic and growing downtown city of Hamtramck, the venue is beautifully remodeled and offers a variety of entertainment from our arcade machines, pool tables and a full bar at neighborhood prices. The venue portion is spacious and equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting to enhance any live performance (which happen at least 5 times a week).
